Ribosomal protein L36a pseudogene 34 (RPL36AP34) is a genomic sequence in humans classified as a pseudogene, not encoding a functional protein. It is related to the ribosomal protein L36a family but arose through the process of retrotransposition, resulting in a non-coding, typically transcriptionally silent locus.
