Target intelligence / Profile preview
RPL37P6 (Ribosomal protein L37 pseudogene 6) is a processed pseudogene in humans. It is related to the functional ribosomal protein L37 gene (RPL37), but due to mutations, it does not encode a functional protein. There are numerous ribosomal protein pseudogenes, including RPL37P6, dispersed throughout the genome and these are typically transcriptionally inactive. RPL37P6 has no known biological function or clinical significance as a therapeutic target[7][2][4].
