Target intelligence / Profile preview
Ribosomal protein L6 pseudogene 11 (RPL6P11) is a processed pseudogene in the human genome. It is related by sequence homology to the ribosomal protein L6 gene (RPL6), but does not encode a functional protein. Pseudogenes such as RPL6P11 result from gene duplication or retrotransposition events, and generally lack the regulatory or coding elements required for protein synthesis. RPL6P11 has no known molecular, biochemical, or disease-related function. It is not a therapeutic target or biomarker, and there are no documented interactions with drugs or biological pathways[7].
