Target intelligence / Profile preview
Ribosomal protein L6 pseudogene 15 (RPL6P15) is a processed pseudogene in the human genome corresponding to the ribosomal protein L6 gene. Unlike the protein-coding gene RPL6, RPL6P15 does not encode a functional protein and is not involved in biological processes related to ribosomal function or implicated as a therapeutic or disease-associated target. Like other ribosomal protein pseudogenes, RPL6P15 represents a non-functional genomic segment that arose via retrotransposition of RPL6 mRNA[3][4][6].
