Target intelligence / Profile preview
Ribosomal protein L7 pseudogene 36 (RPL7P36) is a processed pseudogene in the human genome derived from the ribosomal protein L7 (RPL7) gene[1][3][9]. Ribosomal protein L7 is a component of the large 60S ribosomal subunit, but RPL7P36 itself does not code for a functional protein[1][3]. Like most ribosomal protein pseudogenes, RPL7P36 lacks essential regulatory elements and is not known to be expressed or to participate in any biological pathways[5][9]. It is not implicated in disease, not used as a biomarker, nor described as a druggable therapeutic target[1][3][9].
