Ribosomal protein L7a pseudogene 43 (RPL7AP43) is one of many processed pseudogenes derived from the ribosomal protein L7a gene (RPL7A). RPL7A is part of the 60S subunit of the ribosome and plays a role in protein synthesis, but pseudogenes like RPL7AP43 do not encode functional proteins and are considered non-coding sequences without known biological function or disease association.
