Ribosomal protein L7a pseudogene 58 (RPL7AP58) is a human pseudogene associated with the ribosomal protein L7a gene family. As a processed pseudogene, it does not encode a functional protein and is generally considered to lack biological function[5][8][11]. Unlike its protein-coding parent gene (RPL7A), which is a structural component of the 60S ribosomal subunit critical for protein synthesis[4][7], RPL7AP58 lacks evidence of functional protein expression or therapeutic relevance.
