Ribosomal protein S20 pseudogene 2 (RPS20P2) is classified as a pseudogene corresponding to the functional gene encoding ribosomal protein S20. Pseudogenes are non-functional DNA sequences similar to normal genes but are typically non-coding and lack the ability to produce functional protein.
