Target intelligence / Profile preview
Ribosomal protein S27 pseudogene 11 (RPS27P11) is a *processed pseudogene* associated with the ribosomal protein S27 (RPS27) gene family. Unlike its parent gene RPS27, which encodes a component of the 40S ribosomal subunit involved in protein synthesis and has roles in cancer biology, RPS27P11 does not code for a functional protein and has no established physiological or pathological function. The presence of multiple RPS27 pseudogenes is typical, but they are not considered therapeutic or biological targets[2][3][5].
