Ribosomal protein S3a pseudogene 24 (RPS3AP24) is a non-coding genetic element classified as a processed pseudogene. Processed pseudogenes arise when reverse-transcribed mRNA is reintegrated into the genome, typically lacking regulatory sequences necessary for expression.
