Target intelligence / Profile preview
Ribosomal protein S6 pseudogene 2 (RPS6P2) is a non-functional, processed pseudogene of the ribosomal protein S6 gene. Pseudogenes result from gene duplication or retrotransposition and typically lack protein-coding capability. RPS6P2 does not encode a functional protein and is dispersed within the human genome along with numerous other ribosomal protein pseudogenes[4][1].
