Ribosomal protein S7 pseudogene 11 (RPS7P11) is a processed pseudogene in the human genome that has arisen from the functional ribosomal protein S7 (RPS7) gene. Like other ribosomal protein pseudogenes, it is a non-functional genetic sequence and does not code for a protein. There is no evidence supporting RPS7P11 as a therapeutic target, nor is it implicated in disease, drug interactions, or biomarker roles. Its presence reflects the common phenomenon whereby highly expressed proteins, such as ribosomal proteins, generate many dispersed, inactive pseudogenes across the genome[1][4][6][11].
