Ribosomal protein S7 pseudogene 9 (RPS7P9) is a noncoding pseudogene in the human genome, homologous to the ribosomal protein S7 (RPS7) gene[8][5]. Pseudogenes like RPS7P9 result from duplication or retrotransposition events and do not code for functional proteins owing to disruptions, mutations, or a lack of essential gene regulatory elements[7][8]. RPS7P9 has no known protein product or direct physiological or pathological function. Although recent studies suggest some pseudogenes may have regulatory effects via RNA transcripts, the majority—including RPS7P9—are biologically inactive and are not considered drug targets or biomarkers[7][8]. If you require structured data for a gene that is a therapeutic target, RPS7 (the parent gene) would be appropriate, but RPS7P9 itself is not suitable as such.
