Target intelligence / Profile preview
RIO kinase 3 pseudogene 1 (RIOK3P1) is a human pseudogene located on chromosome 13 (gene ID: 122145). It is derived from the functional RIO kinase 3 (RIOK3) gene but has lost its protein-coding ability due to mutations or genomic alterations. Pseudogenes like RIOK3P1 typically retain sequence similarity to their parent genes but no longer produce functional proteins. Therefore, RIOK3P1 is not a valid therapeutic target, and it does not play an active role in known biological pathways or diseases.
