RN7SK pseudogene 131 (RN7SKP131) is a miscellaneous RNA pseudogene in the human genome. Unlike the functional 7SK small nuclear RNA (encoded by RN7SK), which is a non-coding RNA involved in regulating transcription elongation by controlling the activity of P-TEFb, RN7SKP131 does not produce a functional RNA product and has no established biological or disease-related function. There is no evidence that it serves as a receptor, enzyme, transporter, or other therapeutic target, nor does it play any characterized role in cell signaling, gene regulation, or disease pathogenesis. Pseudogenes such as RN7SKP131 are usually regarded as non-functional genomic elements. This pseudogene is not a functional molecule or therapeutic target. Only the canonical RN7SK gene produces the 7SK RNA involved in transcription regulation. RN7SK pseudogenes (such as RN7SKP131) do not encode functional RNAs and are not recognized as drug or therapeutic targets.
