RN7SK pseudogene 220 (RN7SKP220) is a non-coding sequence in the human genome that arises from duplication of the functional RN7SK gene, which normally encodes the 7SK small nuclear RNA involved in the negative regulation of transcription elongation by RNA polymerase II within the 7SK snRNP complex[3][5]. Pseudogenes like RN7SKP220 do not encode functional RNA or protein products and are not considered therapeutic targets.
