Target intelligence / Profile preview
RN7SK pseudogene 258 (RN7SKP258) is a noncoding RNA gene classified as a pseudogene of *RN7SK small nuclear RNA*. It does not encode a functional snRNA molecule and is not known to have regulatory or protein-coding activity. The functional RN7SK snRNA is a highly conserved noncoding RNA that regulates RNA polymerase II transcription elongation and cell differentiation through interactions with protein complexes such as positive transcription elongation factor b (P-TEFb). RN7SKP258 itself is not considered a therapeutic target and is rarely referenced in functional genomics or disease biology literature.
