Such pseudogenes may be present in multiple copies throughout the genome and can occasionally influence gene regulation through mechanisms such as acting as miRNA decoys, but there is no direct evidence of a functional or disease-associated role for RNU6-1286P specifically[4][5]. Pseudogenes like RNU6-1286P are not considered therapeutic targets, and there are no drugs, mechanisms of action, or biomarker uses associated with them.
