RN7SK pseudogene 252 is annotated as a non-functional copy (pseudogene) related to the RNA, 7SK small nuclear RNA (7SK snRNA) gene family. While the canonical 7SK snRNA is a highly conserved, non-coding RNA essential in regulating transcription elongation by modulating the activity of positive transcription elongation factor b (P-TEFb)[1][2], pseudogenes such as RN7SKP252 typically do not produce active RNA or proteins and have no validated role in human biology or disease. There is currently no evidence associating RN7SKP252 with a protein product, therapeutic mechanism, or disease biology.
