RNA, 7SL, cytoplasmic 321, pseudogene (RN7SL321P) is one of many human 7SL RNA-derived pseudogenes. Pseudogenes like RN7SL321P are typically truncated or mutated genomic copies of functional RNA genes, resulting from the reverse transcription of their parent RNAs into DNA and subsequent integration into the genome. The majority of 7SL pseudogenes do not encode functional proteins or RNAs and are generally not expressed or functional.
