RNA, 7SL, cytoplasmic 352, pseudogene (RN7SL352P) is a non-coding RNA pseudogene located on human chromosome 6 (cytogenetic region 6p25.3). It is classified as a pseudogene, meaning it is a DNA sequence that resembles a functional gene but is nonfunctional and does not code for a protein or functional RNA product. RN7SL352P derives from the 7SL RNA gene, which encodes the RNA component of the signal recognition particle (SRP) complex important for targeting secretory proteins to the endoplasmic reticulum. However, as a pseudogene, RN7SL352P does not produce functional 7SL RNA and has no documented role in biological pathways, drug targeting, or disease association. Currently there are no known interacting drugs, biomarkers, mechanisms of action, or safety concerns related to this pseudogene.
