RN7SL392P, like nearly all RN7SL pseudogenes, is thought to arise from the reverse transcription and reintegration of 7SL RNA transcripts into the genome, often resulting in truncated, nonfunctional copies lacking the regulatory or coding features of the parent gene[6][7]. There is no evidence of transcription or protein-coding function for RN7SL392P itself, nor is it implicated directly as a therapeutic target, disease biomarker, or mechanism of drug action. Its existence, like that of other pseudogenes, may reflect the evolutionary history of the 7SL/SRP family rather than any direct physiological role.
