RN7SL570P itself does not produce a functional RNA; rather, it is a non-functional, typically non-expressed genomic sequence resulting from the reverse flow of genetic information from 7SL RNA into the genome[5][6]. As such, this pseudogene does not serve as a therapeutic target, nor is it linked directly to disease or with known pharmacological agents. Pseudogenes in general can sometimes exert regulatory effects on gene expression or act as microRNA decoys, but there are no documented biological or disease roles for RN7SL570P specifically[4][5].
