RNA, 7SL, cytoplasmic 643, pseudogene (RN7SL643P) is a non-functional genetic locus in humans derived from the retrotransposition of the functional 7SL RNA gene, which encodes an essential component of the signal recognition particle involved in protein targeting to the endoplasmic reticulum[5][7][1]. Pseudogenes like RN7SL643P are typically characterized by sequence truncation and absence of functional expression, resulting in no direct biological activity. While some pseudogenes play roles in disease by acting as regulatory RNAs, there is currently no evidence that RN7SL643P has such functions[2][1][7]. As such, RN7SL643P is not considered a relevant drug target or biomarker and has no associated drugs or safety concerns.
