RNA, U1 small nuclear 11, pseudogene (RNU1-11P), also known as RNU1P1, U1P1A, or RNU1P5, is classified as a pseudogene related to the U1 small nuclear RNA gene family, which encodes components of the spliceosome involved in pre-mRNA splicing[3]. However, as a pseudogene, RNU1-11P does not produce a functional RNA or protein product and is not known to play a biological role in splicing or any other cellular process[3]. It is not considered a receptor, enzyme, or any therapeutic target. There is no evidence for its involvement in disease or interaction with drugs, nor is it used as a biomarker for patient selection or monitoring. The designation as a "target" is therefore incorrect, as it is not a protein-coding gene nor an active non-coding RNA with a characterized function[3].
