RNU6-1190P is a pseudogene derived from the U6 small nuclear RNA (snRNA) gene, which is a component of the spliceosome complex involved in pre-mRNA splicing in eukaryotes[3][1]. U6-derived pseudogenes like RNU6-1190P are non-functional sequences resulting from retrotranspositional copying events[5]. They can be used in research as indicators of retrotransposition activity but have no disease, drug target, or biomarker relevance[5][7].\n\nRNU6-1190P is a non-functional pseudogene, not a therapeutic or physiological molecular target; it serves only as a genomic marker of retrotransposition and lacks any biological, clinical, or pharmacological significance[2][5][7].
