**RNU6-1270P** (RNA, U6 small nuclear 1270, pseudogene) is a noncoding RNA pseudogene found in the human genome, located on chromosome 3 (locus 3p13)[1][5][10]. It belongs to the large family of small nuclear RNA (snRNA) pseudogenes derived from U6 snRNA genes, which are typically generated by retrotransposition mechanisms such as LINE-1 (L1)-mediated reverse transcription[2]. Pseudogenes like RNU6-1270P do not produce functional proteins or RNAs and are considered nonfunctional genomic elements[8]. There is no evidence that RNU6-1270P has a role as a drug target, biomarker, or disease-associated gene, nor is there evidence for its involvement in biological or disease processes in the literature or gene catalogs[1][8][9][10].
