The U6 small nuclear RNA (snRNA) is an essential component of the spliceosome involved in pre-mRNA splicing, but pseudogenes such as RNU6-1335P result from the retrotransposition or duplication of the functional U6 snRNA gene and have accumulated mutations that prevent them from exerting canonical function in RNA processing[2][5]. As a pseudogene, RNU6-1335P is not considered a biochemical or therapeutic target, nor does it have reported interaction with known drugs or established biomarker utility; its main significance lies in genome structure and evolutionary history[1][2][5][7].
