RNU6-323P (RNA, U6 small nuclear 323, pseudogene) is annotated as a pseudogene derived from the U6 small nuclear RNA gene family[2][5][7]. Unlike its functional counterpart U6 snRNA, which plays an essential role as part of the spliceosome in pre-mRNA splicing[1][3], RNU6-323P does not encode a functional RNA or protein product and is not currently associated with any direct therapeutic, enzymatic, or receptor activity. Like many U6-related pseudogenes, it represents a genomic remnant, likely non-functional and not involved in biological processes or disease mechanisms[8]. There is no evidence that RNU6-323P has roles in signaling, disease, or as a therapeutic target.
