RNU6-529P is a pseudogene belonging to the U6 small nuclear RNA gene family. Pseudogenes such as RNU6-529P are DNA sequences similar to functional RNA genes but are generally considered non-functional due to the accumulation of mutations or lack of essential regulatory elements; they do not produce functional RNA or protein products. U6 small nuclear RNA is a key component of the spliceosome complex involved in pre-mRNA splicing, but pseudogenes like RNU6-529P are regarded as genomic relics without direct biological or disease relevance[1][4]. There is no evidence that RNU6-529P encodes a functional molecule, participates in molecular interactions, or serves as a drug target in physiological or pathological processes.
