Target intelligence / Profile preview
RNA, U6 small nuclear 772, pseudogene (RNU6-772P) is a human pseudogene derived from the U6 small nuclear RNA gene family[3][5]. Pseudogenes are DNA sequences related to functional genes but are generally considered nonfunctional due to mutations or truncations. While some pseudogenes can be transcribed and influence gene regulation (e.g., by acting as miRNA decoys, antisense RNAs, or affecting chromatin), the majority—including RNU6-772P—have no confirmed biological role[2][4]. RNU6-772P is identified in genomics databases but is not considered a drug target or disease biomarker, and there is no evidence for its involvement in human diseases or for clinically relevant interactions.
