RNA binding motif protein, Y-linked, family 2, member N pseudogene (RBMY2NP) is a non-coding pseudogene found on the human Y chromosome. It belongs to a family of Y-linked RNA-binding motif proteins primarily expressed in the testes, which are important for pre-mRNA splicing and spermatogenesis. However, as a pseudogene, RBMY2NP does not produce a functional protein and currently has no known direct biological role or association with drug response, disease biomarker status, or therapeutic safety concerns[6][8].
