As a pseudogene, RBM22P5 does not produce a functional protein and is not known to have biological roles, disease relevance, or therapeutic potential. There is no evidence for its involvement in molecular pathways, drug interactions, or biomarker applications. The term “RBM22P5” refers specifically to the pseudogene, and should not be confused with the protein-coding RBM22 gene, which is a potential therapeutic target in certain cancers and hematological diseases[2][1][4].
