RNA binding motif protein Y-linked family 2 member G, pseudogene (RBMY2GP), is a human pseudogene located on the Y chromosome. It is homologous to functional members of the RBMY gene family, which encode RNA-binding proteins involved in spermatogenesis. As a pseudogene, RBMY2GP does not encode a functional protein due to disabling mutations such as premature stop codons or frame shifts.
