RORA antisense RNA 1 (RORA-AS1) is presumed to be a long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) transcribed antisense to the RORA gene (retinoic acid receptor-related orphan receptor alpha). However, there is currently no evidence in major biological databases and literature supporting RORA-AS1 as a functionally characterized molecule or as a therapeutic target. No validated disease roles, molecular functions, or interacting drugs have been documented for RORA-AS1. The canonical lncRNA associated with the RORA gene has not been widely reported or studied, and its existence and significance remain unclear. Note: This entry appears to be incorrect or at least of highly uncertain utility as a biomedical target. The main lncRNAs interacting with RORA described in current literature are *FGD5-AS1* and related lncRNAs, not RORA-AS1, and there is no standard annotation for "RORA antisense RNA 1" in widely-used genomic databases[1][3].
