RPS10-NUDT3 is a fusion protein resulting from a naturally occurring read-through event between the *RPS10* and *NUDT3* genes on human chromosome 6. The read-through transcript produces a chimeric protein sharing sequences from both parent proteins—RPS10, a component of the ribosomal small subunit involved in protein synthesis, and NUDT3, a Nudix hydrolase implicated in nucleoside diphosphate metabolism and cellular homeostasis.
