RPS6KA2 intronic transcript 1 (RPS6KA2-IT1) is a non-protein-coding RNA transcribed from the intronic region of the RPS6KA2 gene. Unlike the RPS6KA2 gene, which encodes a serine/threonine-protein kinase implicated in cell signaling and cancer, RPS6KA2-IT1 itself does not code for a protein, and its biological function, molecular interactions, and disease associations have not been established in the available scientific literature[4][5]. As a long non-coding RNA, RPS6KA2-IT1 is part of the broad class of RNAs involved in gene regulation, but there is currently no direct evidence that it serves as a biomarker, drug target, or that it plays a specific regulatory or disease-modifying role.
