Overview

RUN domain-containing protein 3A (RUNDC3A) is a human protein encoded by the RUNDC3A gene. It belongs to the RUN domain protein family, characterized by the presence of the RUN domain that mediates protein interactions, notably with small GTPases. RUNDC3A has been described as a putative Rap2-interacting protein (RAP2IP), suggesting a role in GTPase-regulated cellular signaling processes. However, comprehensive functional characterization and its involvement in any disease process remain undefined. RUNDC3A is not currently recognized as a receptor, enzyme, transporter, or therapeutic target in clinical or drug development contexts.
