Target intelligence / Profile preview
SDA1 domain containing 1 pseudogene 3 (SDAD1P3) is a classified human pseudogene, which means it is a nonfunctional segment of DNA that resembles a gene but is typically not expressed as a functional protein. Pseudogenes such as SDAD1P3 may arise from duplication or retrotransposition events during evolution, but do not encode proteins and generally lack direct biological function. While some pseudogenes can regulate gene expression via RNA-based mechanisms or act as microRNA decoys, there is currently no specific evidence to suggest that SDAD1P3 has any known biological or disease-related function.
