The secretome of adipose-derived mesenchymal stromal cells (AD-MSCs) comprises a diverse array of soluble factors and extracellular vesicles, including growth factors (VEGF, TGF-β1, IGF-1, HGF, bFGF), cytokines (IL-6, IL-8, IL-10, TNFα, IFNγ), chemokines, and immunomodulatory molecules (IDO, PGE2). These factors mediate angiogenesis, immunomodulation, tissue regeneration, and anti-fibrotic effects. Extracellular vesicles, particularly exosomes, play a significant role in modulating recipient cell behavior at the molecular level. AD-MSCs are being widely explored for cell therapies in inflammatory diseases, metabolic disorders, cardiovascular repair, wound healing, and neuroregeneration.
