SAR1AP3 (Secretion associated Ras related GTPase 1A pseudogene 3) is a non-protein-coding pseudogene in the human genome, identified and catalogued in gene databases. Pseudogenes are genomic DNA sequences resembling protein-coding genes, but typically lack the ability to encode functional proteins because of disabling mutations or sequence changes. While some pseudogenes have regulatory roles at the RNA level in certain contexts, the available literature does not provide evidence for SAR1AP3 having any such activity.
