SEMA6A antisense RNA 2 (SEMA6A-AS2) is a long non-coding RNA transcribed on the opposite strand to the SEMA6A gene. Unlike the SEMA6A protein, which plays a well-characterized role in axon guidance and cancer progression, SEMA6A-AS2's specific biological function or involvement in disease is not established in current scientific literature. There is no evidence that SEMA6A-AS2 acts as a direct drug target, biomarker, or receptor. The molecule is not to be confused with the SEMA6A protein, which is a transmembrane receptor of the semaphorin family involved in neural development and cancer biology[1][2][3].
