The serotonin receptor 5-HT7 (HTR7) is a G protein-coupled receptor activated by serotonin. It is broadly expressed in the brain and peripheral tissues, mediating diverse functions including circadian rhythm regulation, mood control, cognition, and smooth muscle relaxation.
