Target intelligence / Profile preview
SGSM3 antisense RNA 1 (SGSM3-AS1) is a long noncoding RNA (lncRNA) gene transcribed from the antisense strand of the SGSM3 genomic locus. Its precise molecular and biological functions, as well as its involvement in disease, have not been well characterized or documented in the literature. Currently, there is no evidence to classify SGSM3-AS1 as a therapeutic target, nor are there known drugs, mechanisms, or clinical biomarkers associated with this RNA molecule[5].
