Sialic acid-binding immunoglobulin-like lectin 10 (SIGLEC10) is an inhibitory receptor primarily expressed on cells of the innate immune system such as eosinophils, neutrophils, monocytes, and B cells. It belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily and contains an N-terminal Ig-like V-type domain responsible for sialic acid binding, followed by four Ig-like C2-type domains, a transmembrane segment, and a cytoplasmic domain with two ITIMs. SIGLEC10 interacts with sialylated proteins and lipids, including CD52, CD24, and VAP‑1, modulating immune responses and potentially playing a role in tumor immune evasion.
