SLAM family member 7 (SLAMF7)

Target
SLAMF7
Molecular classification
Type I transmembrane protein, Immunoglobulin superfamily receptor
01

Overview

SLAM family member 7 (SLAMF7), also known as CS1 or CD319, is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein belonging to the signaling lymphocytic activation molecule (SLAM) family of receptors. It functions as a self-ligand receptor involved in immune cell regulation, acting as an activating or inhibitory receptor depending on the cellular context and adaptor protein interactions. It is overexpressed in multiple myeloma and targeted by elotuzumab.
