Target intelligence / Profile preview
SLC6A14 pseudogene 3 (SLC6A14P3) is a genomically encoded pseudogene related to the SLC6A14 gene, which encodes a broad-spectrum amino acid transporter implicated in amino acid transport across plasma membranes. Unlike SLC6A14, the pseudogene does not encode a functional protein and is not involved in physiological transport or disease mechanisms. There is no evidence that SLC6A14P3 serves as a therapeutic target, molecular biomarker, or is associated with drug interactions or safety concerns[5]. This target is not considered a receptor, enzyme, transporter, or regulator, but is a noncoding pseudogene.
