Slit guidance ligand 2 (SLIT2) is a secreted glycoprotein that acts as a molecular guidance cue, primarily involved in the regulation of cellular migration. It functions mainly through interaction with Roundabout (Robo) family receptors, playing critical roles in axon guidance, neuronal migration, and leukocyte migration.
