SNORA27 is a small nucleolar RNA (snoRNA), specifically of the H/ACA box class, which is involved in the chemical modification of other RNA molecules, primarily by guiding the pseudouridylation of ribosomal RNA. It does not encode a protein and is not considered a therapeutic target such as a receptor, enzyme, transporter, or transcription factor. There is no evidence in the current biomedical literature that SNORA27 is associated with human disease or therapeutic intervention. As a non-coding RNA annotated only in some databases and absent from core lists of drug targets, it is usually not included in structured therapeutic target lists[1].
