Small nucleolar RNA SNORA75 is a member of the H/ACA box class of small nucleolar RNAs, which are non-coding RNAs localized to the nucleolus and involved mainly in the posttranscriptional modification (pseudouridylation) of ribosomal RNAs and other small nuclear RNAs. SNORA75 has been shown to regulate the proliferation, migration, and invasion of endometrial cells, influencing endometrial receptivity and embryo implantation. It appears to function through a ceRNA (competing endogenous RNA) mechanism, notably regulating miR-146a-3p and downstream targets such as ZNF23, as well as modulating expression of factors like LIF, integrin beta-3, claudin-4, and DKK1 in endometrial epithelial cells. Alterations in SNORA75 expression are observed in certain cancers and reproductive disorders, indicating potential roles in disease, but it is not a direct therapeutic target or receptor and does not interact with known drugs.
